Jason Gonsalves

Jason began his career in advertising as a Media Planner at McCann Erickson where he ran the Coca-Cola account. Never content to be separated from the creative, he joined pioneering comms planning agency Michaelides & Bednash in 2000 to run the Channel 4 account.

There he won the coveted D&AD Black Pencil. In 2006 he went on to be Head of Strategy and then Chief Strategy Officer at BBH, where he worked on accounts from The Guardian & Google to Audi & Burberry.
During this time the agency twice won Agency of The Year at both the APG awards and at the IPA Effectiveness Awards, as well as winning a Cannes Grand Prix for Effectiveness and Cannes Gold’s on 7 different clients.

In August of 2017 Jason was delighted to join mcgarrybowen as CEO.
