Joey Jones

Joey Jones joined Weber Shandwick last year following a long career in Westminster as a journalist and in government.

As Sky News’ Deputy Political Editor, Joey was at the heart of the channel’s coverage of the historic Conservative/Liberal Democrat coalition from 2010 – 2015. He negotiated the pitfalls of 24-hour news with surefooted aplomb, authority and humour. He is an acknowledged authority on parliamentary proceedings, in particular Prime Minister’s Questions and select committee hearings.

After leaving Sky, Joey was appointed spokesperson to the then Home Secretary, Theresa May; three months later, Theresa May was installed in Number Ten as Prime Minister.
