It’s Alex’s job to decide what appears in the business pages of the Evening Standard each day – and what doesn’t – while hitting fiercely tight deadlines. With more than a million Londoners reading the newspaper daily, the City section offers a lively mix of news, commentary and features on everything from FTSE 100 giants to the capital’s vibrant start-up scene. Alex has been at the Standard for three years, and has a background in retail trade journalism. He’s also a podcaster, fanzine writer and long-suffering Sheffield Wednesday fan.
