Kate began her career in journalism writing a column for the Daily and Sunday Mirror before becoming the youngest and first female editor of Smash Hits in 1995. She then went on to work as a Contributing Editor at Marie Claire and the Sunday Times Style Magazine.
In 1997 Kate began working onscreen as a TV and radio presenter and her credits have included X Factor, Pop Idol, The Brits, The Royal Variety Performance, Holiday, This Morning, Loose Women and Radio 2 to name just a few.
