Tony Davidson

In 1985, Tony graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with a ‘first’ in Design and Communication. He and Kim Papworth, who Tony has worked with for 22 of the past 25 years, met at BMP where they started their adland journey. During ’95-’97 they worked on the BBC business. They moved from BMP to BBH in 1997 where they created one of their most admired campaigns: Levi’s ‘Flat Eric’.

The decision to leave BBH to run W+K in 2000 proved a good one; 14 years later Tony remains ECD and since 2009, a global partner in the W+K network. Last October marked a key point in his career as Kim stepped down as ECD from W+K London. Iain Tait has stepped into his rather large Nikes…
