Verra Budimlija

Verra Budimlija leads strategic media and creative thinking for MEC and was recently named as one of Campaign's top three media strategists. Since joining six years ago, MEC has successfully diversified the type of award winning work it produces for clients, resulting in numerous APG Creative Planning Awards and scooping 24 golds in 2016, including a Webby and a D&AD Pencil, a first for a media agency.

It is Campaign's reigning Media Agency of the Year 2016 and the previous year MEC was awarded the Chairman's award for innovation at the Campaign Media Awards as well the agency of the year title.

Verra is a high profile thought leader and influential figure in the communication industry. She speaks regularly at events for organisations such as MediaTel and Magnetic. She was also chair of the entertainment jury at Eurobest in Rome. Her early career was spent working at some of London’s most successful advertising agencies, including M&C Saatchi, Leo Burnett and SapientNitro.
