Matthew Kershaw

Matthew has accrued over 20 years of experience in the music industry, TV, radio, print, digital, advertising and branding. In that time he has worked at companies such as MTV, Kiss FM, Emap, The Guardian, the BBC and Channel 4.

From 2000-2006, Matthew was Head of Interactive at MTV where he was responsible for all digital media activity across TV, mobile and internet. His department won numerous awards including a BAFTA, and created the first video programming commissioned specifically for mobile.

In 2006 he joined renowned ad agency, BBH where he was Content Director and Partner, and worked on accounts such as Barclays, Audi, Waitrose, LG, Robinsons and Johnnie Walker.

Last year, Matthew joined Ministry Of Sound as Group Marketing Director with a remit to further develop Ministry’s renowned portfolio of brands, help the business develop digital products and services and grow the company’s position as a youth-oriented media owner and brand partner.
