Shane Williams

Shane Williams is one of the best wingers in world rugby. The man once told he was “too small to play rugby” has become one of Wales’ all-time greats and the country’s most capped winger. By the time he bowed out of international rugby, Shane had 87 caps to his name, plus several Test appearances for the British & Irish Lions. He is the record try scorer for Wales, the third most prolific scorer in the history of the game. Being voted the IRB Player of the Year in 2008 is just one of his accolades.

Shane Williams is renowned for his speed, side-step and runs, enjoying a long spell for the Ospreys before joining Mitsubishi Dynaboars in Japan as player-coach. He retired from international rugby in 2012 and from domestic rugby last month.
