Frances Hudson

Frances has been working in technical and operational roles in the programmatic industry since its infancy 8 years ago, and last year was recognised as one of Campaign's Media Week 30 under 30. She currently works at The Guardian overseeing technology and operations of their digital revenue in the position of Head of Digital Optimisation.

Having worked in a variety of positions across both the buy and sell sides of the digital industry, Frances utilises this unique experience to interrogate the world of programmatic advertising. She is passionate about future-proofing advertising in the publishing industry, challenging the ethics of digital advertising practices and keeping the web free & open to all.

Frances has a Masters in Mathematics, cares deeply about diversity and championing the success of women in technology roles.
