Edwina Dunn has built her success from utilising the power of data and using it to transform businesses. In 1989 she founded dunnhumby with Clive Humby, which revolutionised the use of customer data to understand and predict consumer trends and behaviours. dunnhumby developed the Tesco Clubcard scheme and grew to become the driving force behind the emergence of data-led customer loyalty programmes.
Edwina is now CEO of Starcount, which has created a new way for brands to understand their customers' passions and motivations by harnessing the vast data pool created by social media activity. She holds a number of positions aside from her commercial interests, which include being Chair of Government backed and Private Sector Sponsored “Your Life Campaign” (a Community Interest Company) which seeks to promote STEM subjects to 14-16 year olds across the UK. Edwina is also the founder of The Female Lead, a not-for-profit campaign which celebrates women's achievement, endeavour and diversity.
