Ann Rubin

As Vice President, Branded Content and Global Creative, Ann’s role is to manage various content programs for IBM. She manages things such as Global Advertising, IBM’s Social Brand Channels, Customer Reference program, the ibm.comhomepage editorial strategy, media planning, Agency operations and Branded content activations. Ann also manages IBM’s internal Education platform where the entire IBM workforce comes each month to learn about IBM's most important strategic technologies.

Ann was integral to the development and execution of IBM’s Smarter Planet strategy and more recently launched the new Cognitive Business brand platform with a focus on IBM Watson.

Prior to her current role, Ann was Director of Integrated Marketing Communications for the Americas Group where she managed Demand Generation programs in support of various Business Units and was responsible for executing digital marketing, telemarketing and for creating an overall Americas Event Strategy.

Ann spent 12 years working in Account Management at large advertising agencies before moving to the “Client side”of the business.  On the Agency side, Ann managed various accounts ranging from Procter & Gamble to AT&T at N.W. Ayer and Merkley Newman Harty.

Ann attended Union College in Schenectady, NY and has earned several advertising awards including the Working Mother Advertising Working Mother of the Year Award, the Girls Inc “Strong, Smart, Bold”Award and multiple creative awards.  Ann was named a 2014 Ad Age top Digital Marketer and a 2017 Adweek Creative Top 100.  Ann is on the Executive Board of the Advertising Educational Foundation and member of various Advertising organizations.  When Ann isn’t working, she is busy enjoying snowboarding, photography and spending time with her husband and three sons.
