Born on December 4, 1973 in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
In 1993, Atsushi formed the Japanese comedy duo London Boots #1 and #2.
While active as a member of the duo, Atsushi also appears as an individual in many variety shows as well as economic and information TV programs. He is also active on Internet with over 3 million followers on Twitter, the launch of his YouTube channel, and of the online community “Atsushi Tamura’s Elementary School for Adults”. He then enrolled in the Graduate School of Media Design at Keio University in April 2019, and completed his studies in March 2021. Atsushi is now expanding his activities beyond the boundaries of a TV personality.
