Christina Lu

Christina joined Alibaba group in 2016 and is leading a newly formed team with a diverse expertise in brand building including marketing operation, research, CRM, and media services, to innovate and renovate Alibaba’s way of enabling effective and efficient brand building, powered by data intelligence, transforming Alibaba from the biggest ecommerce platform to a strategic brand and business building platform partner of brands around the world. Over the past 20 years, Christina has held marketing roles with increasing leadership responsibility in a number of Fortune 500 consumer goods companies such as Kraft Foods, Unilever and Johnson & Johnson, and prior to joining Alibaba she was the Marketing VP of Johnson & Johnson Consumer in China. Christina is a passionate believer of consumer oriented, data fuelled and insight driven brand building, as she is committed to helping businesses renovating brand building with Alibaba. Christina was an honoree of Ad Age’s ‘Women to Watch 2015’, and was also named ‘100 Influential Marketing Leaders’ by ‘The Internationalist’.
