The schedule for 2019 Rugby World Cup matches was announced last November 2, with the opening match to take place on September 20, 2019 at Ajinomoto Stadium, and the final at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama. 48 matches in total will be played in 12 venues across Japan.

Under the theme ‘Rugby World Cup 2019 – Discovering the Marketing Goldmine” this session will highlight some of successful case studies from Rugby World Cup 2015 in UK. Data shows that rugby fans in UK have at least 20% higher incomes than UK Average and they’re more likely to convert across key sectors such as business, finance and automotive. Although the game is still new to some of the Asian countries, the session intends to give insights to how successful marketing showcase at RWC 2019 Japan potentially can become a Marketing Goldmine to the marketers around the region and globe of a sport now played by a record 7.73 million men, women and children across 121 nations.
