Joe Lazlo

Joe is Global Head of Insights at Shoptalk. He leads the development of the narrative, agenda and speakers for Shoptalk's growing portfolio of events around the world. He has deep retail subject matter expertise, and regularly interviews senior leaders across Shoptalk's stages, as well as serving as an industry expert at other events. He helps define and create Shoptalk's original content, including the zeitgeist presentations on major forces reshaping the retail industry. Joe has worked at Shoptalk since 2018, starting in the role of VP, Content.

Joe has over two decades of experience advising and guiding companies and industries challenged by massive technological change. Prior to joining the Shoptalk team, Joe played several roles at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Earlier in his career, he worked as a research director at Jupiter Research.

Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College, and a Master of Arts from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. When he is not helping industries reinvent themselves, he enjoys sailing and bread making.
