Alex Strickland is the Senior Director, Strategic Relationships of FreeWheel, a global technology
platform for the TV advertising industry. In this role, Alex leads a team supporting premium
programmers who use MRM – FreeWheel’s best in class advertising technology that powers
over 90% of the premium tv ecosystem.
Since joining FreeWheel in 2018, Alex has been integral to the hyper-growth of FreeWheel’s
marketplace business, working alongside top broadcast clients like NBCU, Paramount, Fox and
Warner Bros Discovery to transform their supply monetization, specifically their programmatic
and streaming capabilities.
Alex has spent the past 10 years supporting the shift of viewership from linear to digital, both on
and off the big screen. Prior to FreeWheel, Alex worked at Viacom/MTV Networks, supporting
their global advertising business across product and sales organizations.
Alex lives in Connecticut with his husband and five English cream golden retrievers.
