Siobhan Ciminera

Siobhan Ciminera is the Vice President and Editorial Director for Simon Spotlight, a division of Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing. She oversees media publishing and the Ready-to-Read line of beginning readers, which has received four Theodor Seuss Geisel Honors under her leadership.

Ciminera has edited hundreds of books for children ages 0-12, including picture books, beginning readers, chapter books, novels, and more. Her work spans popular brands like Mad Libs, Angelina Ballerina, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Peanuts, and How to Train Your Dragon, as well as original fiction and nonfiction from new and established authors and illustrators.

She is passionate about setting the foundation for a lifelong love of reading by giving children great stories based on their interests and favorite authors, characters, and brands.
