Matthew Henick is SVP of the Ventura TV operating system for The Trade Desk. Prior, he was the VP of metaverse development at Epic Games, where he worked across Fortnite and Unreal Engine to build the commercial and governance foundations. Before that, Matthew was VP of global content strategy and investment for Meta where he led cross-functional teams including strategy, programming, and marketing to use content as a growth lever for products on Facebook and Instagram. Matthew has always operated at the intersection of media, technology, and entertainment. He was also head of BuzzFeed Studios where he spearheaded development and monetization of IP on traditional and digital platforms. He also co-founded one of the first ringtone companies in the United States while in high school, has previously written for Pop Up Video, and worked for Judd Apatow on movies like Superbad and Step Brothers.
