Industry disruptors Jess Long and Dr. Jason Werlsand redefine self-care through the lens of women athletes. Long is the multi-medalist and world record setter who has repeatedly spoken out about the value of mental wellbeing for physical performance and shared details of her own story to relate with and inspire others, an act of self-care. Dr. Wersland invented the Theragun and Founded Therabody after working with multiple woman athletes, including Long, over his career and has extensive experience with regulating the nervous system to support optimal athletic performance. The two come together in a fireside chat led by Therabody’s own Sarah Harley to challenge the idea that self-care is extraneous, beauty-centric and task-oriented and is, instead, an inside job.
