Sylvia George is EVP of Performance Marketing for AMC Networks where she leads the media strategy and planning, growth marketing, retention and consumer engagement efforts across the AMC Networks brands with a focus on growing streaming subscription services including AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE.

George is a celebrated leader across the entertainment industry, known for her creative and analytical approach to growing audiences for targeted streaming services. Before leading Performance Marketing, George formerly served as the General Manager of UMC (now “ALLBLK”), a streaming service developed by BET’s Bob Johnson at RLJ Entertainment and the first on the market to target Black audiences and celebrate Black film and television.
