Raeshem Nijhon

Raeshem Nijhon is Founder of Culture House - a Black, Brown and Women owned production company and cultural consultancy - where she develops and produces Film/TV at the intersection of pop culture and politics. She is dedicated to creating opportunities for people of color, women and queer people, and non-traditional voices on both sides of the camera. In a time of social reckoning, she has built a media company with a focus on creating dialogue at the intersections of race, gender, inequality, citizenship, and justice all with an entertainment forward lens.

Raeshem sits on the board for the New York Center for Communications, an organization dedicated to diversity in Hollywood, serving over 4500 students annually. Through Culture House, Raeshem is actively producing the project Growing Up for Disney+, a 10-part premium doc series about the courage to be yourself, in partnership with Brie Larson.
