John Terrana

John Terrana is the EVP of Media at VaynerMedia. In this role, he oversees media operations globally, spanning planning, buying and analytics teams. Since joining VaynerMedia in 2020, John has helped triple media spend under management, and has grown the team to over 400 global practitioners; efforts that led to VaynerMedia being named Adweek’s 2021 Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year.

Prior to VaynerMedia, John spent over seven years at Social Code, most recently as General Manager where he grew the media team from 20 people to over 300, and the advertising spend from $40m to over $1b. John began his career at Deutsch, overseeing digital production and media. He holds a double major in Marketing and English from Hofstra University.
