Kayla Yap

Kayla Yap is the Director of Brand Management for the San Diego Tourism Authority, serving as the brand steward for San Diego’s global advertising programs. The San Diego Tourism Authority represents over 1,000 member organizations, businesses, and local governments and as a sales and marketing organization, the main objective of the SDTA is to promote the San Diego region as a preferred vacation and meeting destination.

Kayla has proven success growing and leading marketing and media efforts across public and private sectors including Centre City Development Corporation (a division of San Diego’s Redevelopment Agency) and Broadcast Company of the Americas. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Hawaii Pacific University.
