Allison Silver

As the Vice President of Global Brand Advertising and Social Media for American Express, Allison oversees global brand campaigns and marketing communications for American Express. With a focus on consumers and small businesses, Allison helps develop campaigns that create brand love and demand among prospects around the world. In this role, she is focused on developing global, integrated brand communications for American Express. She was instrumental in launching the company’s brand platform, “The Powerful Backing of American Express. Don’t Live Life Without It” in 23 countries.
Allison has been part of the Small Business Saturday Team at American Express since its inception in 2010. What started as a desire to help small businesses emerge from the Great Recession, the “Shop Small” movement has grown into a global movement, giving small businesses a place on the holiday shopping calendar, and has been recognized by Advertising Age as one of the “Top 15 Campaigns of the Century.
