Kofi Amoo-Gottfried

Kofi is the Chief Marketing Officer at DoorDash. He began his career at Leo Burnett Chicago & Leo Burnett London where he worked with Kellogg's, Coca Cola, and Global Giving. Prior to his role at DoorDash, Kofi was VP of Brand & Consumer Marketing at Facebook. Before Facebook, Kofi was Chief Strategy Officer at FCB NY. He joined FCB from Bacard, where he led Global brand strategy for the Rum category and drove the reinvention of the Bacardi brand.

As the Founder of Publicis West Africa, Kofi launched the first majority-owned network agency in Africa. As the Strategy Lead on Nike at Wieden+Kennedy, Kofi led the strategy for Nike’s global Beijing Olympics campaign.

Kofi was a recipient of AdWeek’s CMO award in 2021, and in 2020, he was named to Business Insider's list of "25 CMO's To Watch" and honored with AdWeek's "Brand Genius" award. In September 2017, Kofi won ADCOLOR’s “Rockstar” Award, and in 2014, he was named one of Ad Age’s “40 under 40.”
