The connective tissue in Web3 is community, one that is free from the patriarchy so prevalent in Web 2.0. Here collaboration, storytelling and connection fuel relationships and, therefore, value that transcends technology alone.

The metaverse represents a huge frontier for this generation, yet only 7% of US online females own an NFT and we are lagging behind our crypto-adept male counterparts.

But women have a competitive edge and are quickly forming collectives to catch up, such as Women Rise, a powerful NFT collective, and the BFF, whose mission is to educate and give access to the metaverse for women.

The connective tissue in Web3 is community, one that is free from the patriarchy so prevalent in software engineering and development in Web 2.0. Here collaboration, storytelling and connection fuel relationships and, therefore, value.

In Web3, women can own the digital products IP rights to their creations and define their own identity, free from the traditional cultural expectations of beauty. But the real superpower may be our ability to galvanize teams, show support and build together vs compete. In Web3, relationships and collaborations build value that transcends technology alone.
