Through the lens of advertisers, streaming platforms and local businesses, this panel will highlight the types of technology available to make OOH ads more targeted than ever before, how advertisers can build effective campaigns using this advertising technology and how to incentivize and support the business establishments (both local and national) that run them.

From billboards to signage and kiosks, out-of-home (OOH) advertisements have had the same multi-step challenge for decades: to first capture a viewer’s attention to effectively engage with them. For this reason, many advertisers have deprioritized OOH mediums in place of ones that are fully digital and in-home.

This has left a gap in the ability to target viewers in OOH settings despite the tremendous opportunity and few advertisers in the space. That’s why the opportunity is bigger than ever to refine OOH advertising solutions to move past the attention stage and right to consumer engagement.

What You'll Learn from This Session...

  1. Reaching consumers through out-of-home channels is currently an underutilized channel, and through new available capabilities, there is a bigger opportunity than ever.
  2. Strategic ad placement is only half of the battle for having an impactful OOH ad. How an ad is tailored for these settings, from engaging, specific and audio-optional, is critical.
  3. Through new hyperlocal targeting technology, OOH ads are now able to help advertisers target more selectively while segmenting based on location.
