Luis de la Parra

Luis de la Parra is senior vice president of Partner Solutions at Univision Communications, Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. De la Parra leads Univision’s integrated marketing team, which is responsible for creating content and large-scale marketing opportunities for advertisers, driving campaigns from ideation to execution across Univision’s multiplatform media portfolio.

De la Parra has worked in several roles during his more than 20 years with Univision, including the management of branding operations at stations in Chicago and Los Angeles. His experience at the network level includes on-air promotions, commercial production and ad sales solutions.

Before partner solutions, de la Parra served as director of On-Air Promotions for Univision, a role in which he played a key role launching daytime and primetime programming like “Eva Luna,” “¡Mira Quién Baila!” and coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2010. While in Local Media, he developed several integrated sales platforms, redesigned the on-air look for news and helped transition Teleonce to what is now Univision Puerto Rico. 

Prior to joining Univision, de la Parra worked at Televisa, where he had several roles including assistant director of novelas such as “Alcanzar una Estrella I” and “Alcanzar una Estrella II.”

De la Parra has a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production from Columbia College in Chicago and completed the Executive Management Program at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.
