As a Media & Sales Executive with nearly 15 years of experience leading Growth at successful venture-backed startups, Bauer has extensive experience working with the world's leading Fortune 500 brands in the world of Gaming, Entertainment, Sports, Music, & more.
Prior to his time at FaZe Clan, Bauer built & led the revenue organization for the world’s leading GIF platform, GIPHY, launching GIPHY's first brand marketing platform "GIPHY for Marketers" - leading to a $400M acquisition in May of 2020 by Facebook. Prior to GIPHY, at music discovery app Shazam, Bauer was responsible for building best-in-class advertising partnerships with world renowned brands highlighted by Apple, who ultimately acquired Shazam in a $400M acquisition in September of 2018.
Bauer is an MBA graduate from the University of Redlands and lives in Los Angeles, CA with his girlfriend & French bulldog, Murphy.
