Ariela Nerubay, EVP and CMO at Curacao is responsible for business strategy, brand positioning and online expansion efforts for 13 retail stores across 3 states. In addition to her CMO role, Ms. Nerubay is adjunct professor at USC’s Marshall School of Business and Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. Ms. Nerubay is also on the Board of Trustees at the Boys and Girls of America. Before joining Curacao, Ms. Nerubay was Vice President of Multicultural Marketing at the Walt Disney Studios where she led the multicultural strategy for half a dozen films. Before then, she spent 12 years at Univision Communications holding several senior executive roles including GM of Univision Cable Networks. Under Ms. Nerubay’s leadership, her marketing departments have received over 24 industry awards. Ms. Nerubay holds an MBA from CSULB, a B.A. in Communications from Universidad Iberoamericana, two post-graduate degrees from UCLA, and a Executive Diploma from Harvard Business School.
