LayerUp! Corporate Stories Series: “Empathy, Transparency & Inclusion (ET&I)” - Adopting a Holistic Approach to Mental Health & Wellness within BIPOC Workforces and Communities.

Hear how this panel discusses how to effectively create the overall strategy to connect with community allies and business leaders. Infusing their motto into their marketing strategies - “We fly higher together!” - they are successfully aligning organizations with cultural competency opportunities through their technology and trusted insights.

Acquire the “learning tools” to create a more collaborative work environment and spark new ideas. Slogans, policies, erroneous in-house trainings, fancy marketing, or communication campaigns alone do not create DE&I. Inclusion ONLY comes by incorporating EMPATHY. Organizations must also change how employees and leaders behave toward each other, designing supporting organizational systems, and actively encouraging employees to leverage these systems. Companies are more likely to gain an edge in new interpersonal skill building when their leaders are willing to question old legacy assumptions. The route to achieving equity will not be accomplished through treating everyone equally. Instead, it’s through learning to listen, hear and adapt to respect differences. View Less
