Dominick Balsamo

Dominick Balsamo serves a central role in shaping media distribution strategy at MLB. Balsamo leads two global media divisions – one tasked with structuring and executing the league’s international partnerships and the other charged with driving innovative digital media relationships. Under his direction, MLB’s breadth of content, including live games, highlights, and original programming, reaches millions of fans around the world across more than 120 media partners in 204 countries and territories. He has worked on unique MLB offerings across prominent social and OTT platforms including Twitter (#TwitterHitter), YouTube (Exclusive Live Game of the Week), Facebook (Groups/Games), DAZN (‘Change Up’), and Amazon (MLB.TV).

Now in his 19th season at the league office, Balsamo has served across many disciplines, including PR, Marketing, Game Development, Events, Sponsorship and Media - and has played an integral role in growing the league and sport in traditional and emerging markets.
