Jason is a creative entrepreneur whose media ventures have spanned all areas of the industry, from film and television to music, advertising and the internet. He currently holds the positions of CEO for VMLY&R New York and Chief Creative Officer for North America.
In 2010, Jason co-founded NATIVE, which rapidly grew to be Africa’s leading digital marketing agency and part of the VML network. Over seven years, under Jason’s creative leadership, NATIVE VML won a host of local and international awards. At the 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, NATIVE VML won campaign Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lions, catapulting the agency into the top three performing South African agencies at the festival. NATIVE VML also dominated the 2016 IAB Awards being named “Agency of the Year” for the second time.
Jason has won numerous local and international awards, including Cannes Lions.Jason regularly judges award shows such as Cannes Lions, New York Festivals and Dubai Lynx.
