Katherine O'Brien

Katherine has spent her career exploring every way to tell a story. She started out in the digital world before a love of comedy writing pushed her towards more traditional film content. A few years later, she jumped tracks again to focus on social media at Code & Theory. During her time there as a creative lead on Burger King, she and her team worked with Y&R NZ to bring the McWhopper campaign to life. She’s created integrated campaigns for brands including the NFL, E*Trade, Applebee’s, TNT, YouTube, State Farm, McDonald’s and Value City Furniture. Most recently, she captained Grey’s team at the Cannes Lions Hackathon for Good. Her work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, AICP, The Clios and The Webby’s.
