Jeffrey Nicholson was appointed as VaynerMedia's first Chief Media Officer in June 2017 after growing a paid media group of nine into a diversified and full-service media organization of nearly 200 in two years, with managed spend nearly doubling year-over-year. In Jeff's current role, he oversees all buying, planning, ad tech, and analytics services offered by VaynerMedia.
Prior to his time with VaynerMedia, Jeff served as VP of Advertising at SocialCode where he grew the execution firm to be, at one point, the largest advertiser on Facebook, as well as VP of Advertising at LeadKarma, focused on performance-based insurance lead aggregation.
With a non-agency background, Jeff believes he adds a unique flavor of thought leadership to the advertising industry executive status quo, grounded in practitionership, education, and transparency - with the ultimate goal of delivering value that brands truly need in order to compete in an ever-evolving marketplace.
