Sharb Farjami assumed the leadership of Storyful in August, 2017. Storyful is a global leader in social insights, news and video content for media partners, agencies and brands. Storyful journalists and technologists discover and verify compelling online content, and help businesses create and scale video advertising and manage reputational risk.
Mr. Farjami previously served as Director of Content Commercialisation at Foxtel in Sydney, Australia, where he led the strategic development of Foxtel’s addressable and advanced advertising revenues and ensured alignment with Foxtel’s media investments. He also was commercial lead for Foxtel content sales, and established strategic connections into the TV advertising community across the US, UK and Canada.
Before joining Foxtel, Mr. Farjami was Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Sales at News Corp Australia, where he was responsible for the strategic leadership of the Network Sales team.
Mr. Farjami previously was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Mindshare, a WPP media agency and digital leader in the Australian market. He also worked for Viacom, Ignite Media Brands and MTV Networks ANZ and Europe.
