Kathleen Braine

Kathleen leads mobile social media strategy for Samsung in the US. When the Note7 crisis hit in 2016, Kathleen led the charge to regain trust of consumers by creating programs to humanize the brand and working to build true communities for Samsung consumers. Most notably, her team won a Shorty Award in 2017 for a Twitter clapback in response to a misogynist troll. Kathleen has made it her mission to work to engage and speak directly with young millennials and women in a human language.

Additionally, she has created and led multiple community-building social programs in the Creator and Photography space, such as the Samsung Emerging Photographer Program, the #NoteIt Campaign, and the brand partnership with Lensational. Prior to Samsung, Kathleen worked agency-side building digital, editorial, and community engagement strategies for clients such as Dove, Mondelez, MTV, InStyle, & Viacom. She lives in Brooklyn but is originally from Columbus, Ohio (go bucks).
