Mike Kriak

Mike Kriak is the Media Circle Global Lead for ConsenSys, the leading blockchain venture production studio building decentralized applications on Ethereum.

Mike works alongside the technologists and entrepreneurs building the media and entertainment spokes that are part of the ConsenSys mesh. This initially includes: Civil, a platform for sustainable and trustworthy journalism, using governance and crypoeconomics and Ujo, a digital rights management platform enabling fairness, transparency and profitability in music and creative works. Mike will also expand strategic media partnerships and investments for ConsenSys.

Mike comes from Mashable, the global media and entertainment company, where he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He also is a Tony Award-winning producer of Dear Evan Hansen, co-producer on The Prom and on the board of Lincoln Center Theater. He mentors at Backstage Capital, the venture capital firm that invests in underrepresented founders.
