Benny is the Senior Director of Business Development for Tencent's International Business Group, where he holds dual roles as the international business leader of Tencent’s Social Ads, and as President Director of PT Tencent Technology Indonesia, which operates the JOOX, WeChat and VOOV mobile app products.
A dynamic strategist, Benny was formerly a management consultant at McKinsey & Company from 2009 to 2012, covering China market entry strategy for multi-national companies. He extended his career to be the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Rocket Internet Hong Kong.
Benny commenced his global experience working as an Architect in the US, the Netherlands, and China.
Benny is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He holds a Bachelor in Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master in Architecture from Harvard University.
He brings strong experience, expertise, and knowledge to enhance Tencent’s mission to enhance people's quality of life through the provision of innovative Internet services.
