Dr. Oz is an emmy award winning host for “The Dr. Oz Show” and is a professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital and performs 50 heart operations annually. He has authored over 400 original publications and has received numerous patents.
Dr. Oz received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and obtained a joint MD/MBA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine & Wharton Business School. He was the chief medical consultant to Discovery Communications, where his “Transplant!” series won both a Freddie and a Silver Telly award.
Dr. Oz authored seven New York Times Best Sellers, including “You: The Owner’s Manual” and “You: The Smart Patient” He co-founded Sharecare.com which won “Best Medical App” award for AskMD in 2014 and its DoctorOz app was nominated for an Emmy in 2017.
