Jon Schulz

As Chief Marketing Officer of Viant, Jon is responsible for leading brand and product marketing, as well as new business development and strategic partnerships. He is a recognized industry thought-leader in digital marketing, online media, web, mobile and IPTV.

Jon joined the company in 2008 as Senior Vice President – Head of Global Automotive, and was responsible for growing revenue in the global automotive category by over 40 percent in his first year. During a period of rapid growth and multiple acquisitions, he led business development and strategic partnerships across the enterprise on a global basis.

Jon began his career in Information Technology with systems programming and database experience and spent 12 years in the Marketing Leadership Program at Ford Motor Company. He served as the head of Digital Marketing and CRM for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury brands where he was responsible for digital and emerging media, dealer digital integration, brand websites and direct marketing.

Jon has an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University.
