Rebecca Bond is the co-founder of Evolve, a not-for-profit dedicated to getting everyone in America to think harder about better personal choices around gun safety and responsibility. Similar to 'Don't let friends drink and drive.' Evolve works with some of the smartest thinkers, makers and doers; using high-impact campaigns, branded content, partnerships and social.
Founded in March of 2013, Evolve is the only organization not tied to a legislative agenda. Allowing it to effectively talk to both gun owners and non-gun owners about one thing they can agree on: personal responsibility and safety. Evolve has been featured on Piers Morgan, CNN, Forbes, Huffington Post, USA Today, MTV and numerous others. Evolve has the #1 and #19 firearms-safety related videos ('Playthings' and 'Don't Be a Dumbass') in the world, with 'Playthings' capturing approximately 7 million YouTube views, reaching over 12 countries, with a 94% approval rating.
Before Evolve, Rebecca had her own marketing strategy consultancy, that included piloting and teaching a personal branding course for French-based Cap Gemini corporate university and their multinational clients. In addition to identity work and special projects.
Her early career featured experience working on the client and the agency sides at Mattel, Cablevision and Wunderman (Y&R).
She began her career in sports and entertainment marketing, working with global brands such as Hot Wheels/Barbie, Miller Brewing Company, US World Cup Soccer, NASCAR, NFL, NHL, American Movie Classics, USAF Thunderbirds, Russian MiG performance team.
