Tamer Hassan

Tamer Hassan is co-founder and CTO of White Ops, a venture capital backed startup in web security. White Ops was recently named one of the 10 most innovative security startups by RSA for their original approach to botnet detection and security against automated attacks. Prior to White Ops, Mr. Hassan was founder and CEO of Compel Data Technologies Inc., a software development and consulting company focused on big data and business intelligence solutions, with clients across the ad tech market and white shoe law firms. In the years prior to entering the technology sector, Tamer spent a decade as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. A decorated pilot, Major Hassan completed multiple combat deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan as a Combat Search and Rescue helicopter pilot and Tactical Officer. Tamer completed his undergraduate studies at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
