Melissa Romig
Melissa is currently the VP Group Director on the Choice Hotels account at Havas Media, a leading global communications and marketing group. Prior to joining Havas, Melissa spent four years at Allen & Gerritsen as the VP / Managing Director of Digital Media & Analytics, where clients included MFS Investment Management, Toy State, Tribe Hummus, Boston Globe, Museum of Science, Boston Celtics, and Papa Gino’s. While there, she was the recipient of the AdClub's 2009 Media All-Star award. She is also very active in the local and national media communities, serving as a member of the Boston Interactive Media Association's Executive Committee, sitting on committees for the Boston AdClub, and serving as a judge for the MITX and Effie awards.
Melissa also worked in the Carat Boston office for six years, where she was Media Director on clients such as Marriott, RadioShack, and Motorola. Before Carat, Melissa spent three years on the Digitas Boston media team. Over the years, Melissa has worked on a variety of brands including Hyatt Hotels, Motorola, Showtime, IBM, Stonyfield Farms, Wachovia Bank, Neiman Marcus, Johnson & Johnson, Gillette, American Express, and Federal Express.
Melissa earned a Masters degree in mass communications from Boston University, where she is currently and adjunct professor teaching Interactive Marketing.
