Laura Perez

In 2020, Laura Perez was named Managing Director of ViacomCBS Networks Americas for Mexico, Colombia and Central America, reporting directly to Juan Carlos Acosta, President of ViacomCBS Networks Americas.

And as of March 1st 2021, Laura Pérez has taken on an extended role as SVP of Content Distribution LatAm, reporting in this area to Eduardo Lebrija, EVP Chief Commercial Officer of ViacomCBS Networks Americas (VCNA).

Laura is responsible for the distribution strategy across the region for all platforms and distribution outlets, leading a team of experts based in Miami, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. She also oversees the development of the distribution offers across the VCNA ecosystem, from streaming, such as Paramount+ and Pluto TV, to Pay TV and Broadcast for the brands in the region.

Laura has 20 years of experience in the industry and a deep knowledge of the market. She has been a powerful force in the expansion of ViacomCBS Networks Americas, including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount Channel, Nick Jr., VH1 and the digital suite across Mexico and additional countries in Central and South America. Additionally, Laura has led the development of distribution agreements to bring VCNA’s extensive and diverse premium quality content to new platforms and third parties.

Since her arrival in 2000, Laura has held various key roles with ViacomCBS Networks Americas within distribution and affiliates. Prior to VCNA, Laura was part of the Marketing team with Warner Music.
