Juan Pablo Spinetto

Juan Pablo Spinetto is an executive producer for Bloomberg Television in Mexico City and editorial board member for the Mexican edition of Bloomberg Businessweek, the award-winning global business magazine founded in 1929. Prior, JP covered the Latin America commodities industry from Bloomberg's Rio de Janeiro office, where he was also deputy bureau chief.

JP started his career with Bloomberg in 2004 as a TV reporter and producer based in London. He relocated to Rio in late 2010, starting his assignment in Mexico City in early 2016.

At Bloomberg, JP has interviewed hundreds of top newsmakers and attended the most important summits and meetings in the international agenda, including the World Economic Forum in Davos, the G-20 meetings in London and Toronto, and the OPEC Presidential Summit in Saudi Arabia.

JP was part of the Bloomberg team that won the OPEC Award for Public Interest Reporting in 2011. He also won the Telefonica de Argentina prize for a series of stories about the technology industry in 2001.

JP was born in Buenos Aires, where he graduated as an economist from the University of BA and holds a degree in Global Politics from the University of London after receiving a scholarship from the British Council.
