Leslie Green

Les Green is a seasoned marketer that has spent nearly 15 years focused on youth brands. He has been part of the Nike brand marketing organization for the past eight years, and currently serves as the Senior Marketing Director for Nike de Mexico. In his previous role as Nike Africa Marketing Director, he led a team that created all the Nike marketing initiatives across the continent. Before joining Nike Africa, Les held the position of Global Brand Director for Nike Sportswear, where he helped lead all the marketing efforts around the overall reset of the apparel business fueling the now long standing athleisure trend. In 2012, Les was part of the London Olympics brand team, tasked with leading the efforts of the overall Nike brand during this global sports moment. Before Nike Les had a short stint at Wieden + Kennedy as a Strategic Planner helping to develop large-scale brand campaigns for various brands including Nike. Les holds a Master's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and before attending graduate school worked as a brand manager for the non-profit tobacco prevention brand, truth®. Les has been living in Mexico City for six months with his wife and two children and spends his time eating good tacos and avoiding bad traffic.
