Alejandro is one of the few professionals that has had the opportunity to work on all 4 sides of the marketing communications industry: ATL, BTL, Digital and as a Client.
As a client, he has held top management regional and local positions as VP of sales and as a CEO, for some world class companies such as: Yahoo!, Iusacell, Aeromexico, Intercontinental hotels and Citibank.
As a marketing, sales and communications industry leader, he has participated in the development of several acclaimed award winning campaigns for world-class clients such as: P&G, Heineken, Tequila Cuervo, Dos Equis Beer, Tecate and Sol beers, Samsung, Kimberly Clark, Mattel, Marlboro, Sanofi, Scheringh Plough, Bayer, Samsung, GE, Citibanamex, Axe, L’Oreal, Nestle's Nido, Maggi, Carnation, Nescafé, Coca-Cola, El Palacio de Hierro, Renault, Mini and BMW.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, fourteen years ago, he worked for and led some of the most creative and influential creative agencies, namely: TBWA, Lowe/Lintas, JWT and 141, the region’s former leading Shopper Marketing Services & Activation network.
Alejandro in his 14 year tenure at Publicis Groupe has held different management positions such as PublicisWW Regional Latin America CEO for 8 consecutive years, where the agencies he led grew and evolved in its strategic and creative product becoming one of the most solid and recognized creative networks with the best integrated services solutions and reputation in the region.
Today he holds the role of President & Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Communications Mexico which includes all Publicis Groupe creative agencies, namely: Publicis WW, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Marcel, Nurun, Lead 2 Action, Publicis Healthcare, MSL and Arc.
He has been President of the AMAP (Mexican Association of Avertising Agencies) and has also held VP positions at other influential associations such as: Amipci, IAB, IAA; Alejandro was President of the EEFIE council of Mexico, is board member of the Latinamerican EFFIE Council and a board member of the Marketing Mobile Association. Alejandro has been a juror in some of the most prestigious creative and film festivals around the world and has been a keynote speaker in 28 countries.
