Justin Sampson
Justin was appointed Chief Executive of Barb, the industry’s standard measurement of what people watch, in 2012. During his tenure, Barb has launched multiple-screen audience ratings, daily reporting for online streaming platforms and commissioned contracts until 2029.
In the early 1990s, he was part of the start-up team at the Radio Advertising Bureau and rose to become Managing Director. He left RAB in 2004 to join ITV, where he was responsible for relationships with advertisers and trade marketing strategy.
After leaving ITV, he was UK Managing Director of AGB Nielsen, Barb’s panel-management contractor, before working at Kantar on the post-merger integration of TNS.
