Daniel Thomas
Daniel Thomas is deputy companies editor for the Financial Times, helping manage corporate coverage for the newspaper. He has held a number of roles for the newspaper since joining in 2007, including head of the technology, media and telecoms team in London, telecoms correspondent and property correspondent, as well as reporting on investment and personal finance. He writes an occasional column and appears regularly on national TV and radio stations as well as at conference events.
Prior to joining the FT, he spent three years as the assistant editor for Property Week, leading the magazine’s UK-based news team, and has worked on financial news wires and a range of other publications. Mr Thomas has won numerous awards for his coverage of business. He holds a postgraduate degree in journalism from City University and a BA Hons from Manchester University.
